We had thirty eight (38) Paddle N Fin Podcasts Anglers from six (6) states converging on the Beautiful Dale Hollow Lake and take advantage of some beautiful but blustery weather... some kayak anglers faced the wind like a boss out on the main lake or others hid in coves and the rivers and fished in calmer conditions.

Although the winner of the event gets most of the prestige for his accomplishment, most of our kayak anglers come to this event for the big bass pot. Thanks to @Richard DeVries and East Port Marina along with Pepsi and Byrdstown-Pickett Co. Chamber Members Page (Public) and support from the county. The big bass pot this year was over $1300.
All thirty eight (38) kayak anglers were looking for that one big hook up in hope that one (1) Fish would garner them a big check. Some nice quality fish were caught but on day#1 we had two men come in with 20.00 inch fish. A tie!!! The tie breaker went based on the time stamp on the first successful submission to our scoreboard TourneyX.com and the difference between the two was just six minutes with Michael Ridenour edging out Eric Thomason. Eric didn't walk away empty handed as he took home a large Pelican product.
Day #2 all belonged to Jay Wallen with a 20.75 Smallmouth.
Both Michael and Jay's netted fish garnered them checks for 1,350.00
Another awesome prize was awarded by Richard DeVries of East Port Marina. Andrew Watson was the winner of a Nucanoe Pursuit valued at $1,599.00 for traveling the farthest distance to the event.
