ADAM FRASIER Pross

Adam Fraser Pross resides in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. My family means the world to me and i cant do what i do without the support of my wife and kids. My passion for kayak fishing started later in life. I've always enjoyed the outdoors and the sport of fishing, either from a boat or by wandering the banks.

One summer back in 2014, I decided to take out a kayak at our family cottage; the experience was like no other. Paddling my way through the water, casting in and around lily pads, until I felt that tug. From that day on, my passion and love for the sport grew, and the desire to want to learn more about the sport was born. I read and researched just about everything I could find about the sport of kayak fishing. At first, I had never heard of anyone fishing from a kayak, but my research led me to different clubs around Ontario. I've paddled and cast amazing fisheries in this beautiful province; it's an adventure of exploration that gives me so much satisfaction. I've spent my summers fishing tournament trails in Ontario Such as KAAO, Kayak Bass Canada and even fished the Ontario Kayak Bassmaster Championship.

I'm truly more of a paddle adventurer when it comes to kayak fishing. I love paddling adventures and exploring new bodies of water across Ontario and Quebec. I also enjoy kayak fishing from Upstate New York to Vermont and New Hampshire. It doesn't matter if it's a back lake or a river float; count me in on the paddling adventure as I love casting and paddling. It's even better when you surround yourself with people who are as passionate about the sport as you are. I'm an avid angler with my son because I believe family is the most important thing in life. Why not spend time with others who enjoy kayak fishing?

I enjoy fishing for all types of fish species. I love to paddle along the St. Lawrence River, where I frequently fish. I fish mainly for smallmouth and largemouth bass. If I had to pick one, it would be a River smallmouth bass because they are the coolest fish I've ever seen. They don't just put on a show; they put on a fight like no other, Free The Fighter.

I'm active in the community of Kayak Fishing in ontario. For the past three years, I've been involved with "The Kayak Fishing Life" Benefit for The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) event, which earned me the position of volunteer coordinator for the event. I also voluneeter with a local chartiy called "Fishing For Autism" helping bring autism awareness through fishing. In 2023 I joined the Jackson Kayak Fishing Team and also became an Ontario Ambassador for Kayak Bass Canada. I'm a cordintaor for Hard Knox Kayak Fishing its a grassroots kayak fishing group which brings anglers of all skillsets together for a day on the water across southern ontario. I really look forward to paddling and casting and meeting more anglers in the community. I plan to keep spreading my sportsmanship and positivity for the sport. encouraging others to give this amazing sport a paddle.
